Rules and information for the Shropshire One Loft Race
Rules
All pigeons must have a registered life ring on with the year of the one loft race.
All pigeons must be transferred to the Shropshire one loft race.
All pigeons must be paid for when pigeons arrive at the loft.
All pigeons must be older than 35 days old when arriving at the loft.
All pigeons must arrive at the loft between the dates of the 1st of March to the 30th of April.
Information
To secure a team of 3 pigeons there is a deposit of £100 to be paid. To secure 1 pigeon there is a deposit of £40 to be paid to the Shropshire One Loft Race.
All pigeons that are left after the final race will be auctioned and the money raised will be split 50% owner and 50% the Shropshire One Loft Race.
All prize money will be paid in full after the auction from the final race.
All pigeons will be vaccinated with PMV on arrival at the loft.
All pigeons will be appointed with an ETS ring on arrival at loft. Also, the phone number of the Shropshire One Loft Race will be attached to the ETS ring to help try to keep pigeon losses down.
All prize money is calculated on 1200 activated pigeons if there are not 1200 activated pigeons the prize money will be revised to the correct amount on the number of pigeons that have been entered into the race. Once the pigeon loft has closed on the 30th of April the revised prize money will be sent to all that entered into the Shropshire One Loft Race.
All pigeons will be trained by the Shropshire One Loft Race team.
There will be 4 races 3 hotspots with the 3rd hotspot being the semi final and the final race. The first hotstop will be plus 60 miles the 2nd hotspot plus 80 miles the 3rd hotspot (semi final) plus 120 miles and the final plus 230 miles from France.
All pigeons will be trained regular weather permitting to the Shropshire One Loft Races discretion.
In the event the Shropshire One Loft Race can’t go ahead after pigeons have arrived at loft and money has been taken a full refund will be made to every paid member that entered into the race and pigeons will be returned to the owners this is before the 30th of April deadline. In the event anything happens to the Shropshire One Loft Race team when we have passed the 30th April deadline and the Shropshire One Loft Race is underway and the team can’t carry on doing it due to injury or unforeseen circumstances there will be a 3rd party ready to take over to maintain the Shropshire One Loft Race finishes its race program with maintaining the Shropshire One Loft Race rules.
The Shropshire One Loft Race has been approved by the RPRA and everything will be done under RPRA rules.
